Journeyman Commercial Carpenter - Interiors (Framing, Drywall, ACT)Full-Time | Commercial ConstructionCompensation: Hourly, based on experience and skill level (Paid weekly)Position SummaryThe Journeyman Commercial Carpenter is responsible for independently performing skilled installation of metal stud framing, drywall systems, and acoustical ceiling (ACT) systems on commercial job sites. This role drives production, ensures safety compliance, maintains quality standards, and serves as the primary point of coordination between the field and project management.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and develop field crews on commercial job sitesPlan daily and weekly work to meet project schedules and production goalsRead and interpret blueprints to direct layout and installationEnsure all work meets company quality standards and specificationsEnforce safety policies and maintain a safe jobsite environmentCoordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other tradesTrack labor productivity and adjust crews as neededIdentify and resolve jobsite challenges proactivelyTrain and mentor journeyman and apprentice-level team membersQualifications6-10+ years of commercial carpentry experience2+ years in a leadership or foreman role preferredStrong experience with metal stud framing, drywall systems, and ACTAbility to read plans and manage layout independentlyProven ability to lead crews and manage production schedulesStrong communication and problem-solving skillsReliable transportation and ability to travel as requiredSalary: $20 - $28 per hourJob Posted by ApplicantPro
