I’m helping Avance Consulting Group find a top candidate to join their team flexible for the role of Project Manager, Cloud Migration Program. You will accelerate global cloud migration by driving data-backed strategic program governance.

English - Fully fluent Responsibilities and more: Avancé Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager to support an enterprise cloud migration program at a global investment management firm. You'll coordinate portfolio delivery, run program governance and reporting, and help move applications from a legacy cloud platform to a new one. Contract: 12 months, with option to extend. Start: January 2027.
Location: remote, anywhere in the US.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate portfolio delivery across technology teams, including on-premises to colocation migrations
- Run program operations: governance, reporting, schedules, dashboards, and data management
- Lead inventory validation, migration planning, and readiness tracking for applications moving between cloud platforms
- Engage application teams and a network of cloud champions; drive process improvement
- Turn issues and risks into recommended solutions for leadership, not just status updates
- Build executive communications one day and act as a business systems analyst the next
- What you bring
- Strong Power BI skills: you build dashboards and turn structured and unstructured data into insights (this is the top requirement)
- Experience in technology programs, ideally including large-scale cloud migrations
- Agile and Scrum practices and tools
- Comfort working across all levels of an organization and navigating ambiguity
- Consulting agility: you see around corners and bring people along
- Financial services experience is a plus
