Cafe Lead

Position Summary: The Cafe Lead (CL) position plays an integral role in the daily work at Lucabe Coffee Co. As a member of the Leadership Team, the CL reports directly to the Operations Lead, who in turn reports directly to the Owners. The CL functions as the “cafe manager” of a Lucabe Coffee Co. location overseeing the responsibilities related to the daily functions and overall profitability of that location. The CL provides leadership, management, and organization of the daily operations associated with that location (e.g. staffing, training, SOPs, food safety, etc.) working in conjunction with the other Leaders and the Operations Lead to ensure that the Lucabe Coffee Co. mission & vision are executed with excellence. The CL can anticipate 40-50hr work weeks. Though tasked with a specific Lucabe Coffee Co. location, the CL does not work in isolation, but engages in a collaborative effort, delegating tasks to employees under their supervision and working closely with the Leadership Team to “purposefully serve Columbus, Indiana with the highest customer care, the best specialty coffee, and an amazing environment to gather community” for all Lucabe Coffee Co. locations. Given the diversity of tasks, the following are key areas of oversight that require both direct involvement and delegation.
