If you are a seasoned technologist with a passion for women's health and are ready to lead a team, we encourage you to apply.Position Overview As the Mammography Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and clinical activities of the mammography service. Your role is a blend of hands-on technical work and administrative leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services while maintaining a safe and efficient environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies, managing staff, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities Supervise staff and manage the daily operations of the mammography service. Ensure all quality control and quality assurance measures are in compliance with regulatory standards. Perform mammography procedures and other related imaging, as needed. Participate in the development and implementation of department policies and procedures. Provide mentorship and clinical instruction to technologists and new staff. Collaborate with the management team to assist with long-range planning and departmental goals. Qualifications & Certifications Education: An Associate's Degree in Radiological Technology or an equivalent in an approved A.M.A. program is required. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of progressively more responsible experience in an acute care setting is required. Certifications: A national certification is required upon hire. You must hold one of the following: California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification, OR California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit, OR California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification, OR National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, OR National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, OR National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, OR National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists, OR National Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board. A National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.
