Read more to apply!Job Type: Full Time - OnsiteSchedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:30pmLocation: 6591 State Route 12, Lowville, NY 13367Salary Range: $63,000 - $65,000Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceResponsibilities:In conjunction with the GM, assist with the overall day-to-day operations of the facilityEnsure coverage of daily transit fixed routes, trips, and chartersOn-going customer development with Port Byron School DistrictAssist with driver training and recruitment programsEnsure all drivers are equipped with all necessary job-related training in designee areaAssist in preparing payroll, account receivables, accounts payables, and month end requirementsCoordinate with HR when conducting disciplinary actions of employeesParticipate in planning annual financial requirements for the facilityResponsible for carrying out all STA policies and State and Federal applicable regulationsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma, equivalent certification or Associate's Degree from an accredited university or college in business is preferred3+ years' experience in school bus or transportation related operations1+ years' experience in a leadership roleValid CDL license with passenger and school bus endorsement is a plusIf not CDL licensed will need to obtainExperience in MS Office SuiteKnowledgeable in School District contracts and Federal and State regulationsPass pre-employment screeningsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
