The successful candidate will have significant experience using a variety of different protocols (FHIR, HL7, etc.) with leading EHRs such as EPIC and Cerner.This role is FULLY REMOTE, though you MUST reside within the United States and be legally authorized to work in the United States. Key Values of all TeamBuildersFlexibility – Adapt how we work to meet team and customer needsAccountability – We own commitments and results, and follow through as a teamClarity – Communicate expectations, priorities, and decisions clearlyTransparency – Share decisions, feedback, and context openly and honestlyWhat You'll DoDesign, develop, and maintain scalable and robust integrations between TeamBuilder and customer EHR systems (such as EPIC, Cerner, etc.)Troubleshoot integration issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure uninterrupted data flow and system interoperabilityDesign and develop sophisticated REST API platforms ensuring comprehensive system integrationAnalyze service and application performance using various programming languages, tools, and techniques focused on integrationConduct thorough testing and validation of EHR integrationsDevelop and maintain automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines tailored for integrated systemsCreate documentation to support integration processes and workflowsGuide non-technical users in applying integrated software and hardware systems most effectively and efficientlySupport applications with an understanding of system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshootingCommunicate project status, issues, feedback, ideas, to various teamsBe proactive in communication with team members and clientsWhat We Look For10+ years of experience as an integration engineer, software engineer, or related discipline5+ years of proven experience integrating third-party vendor projects with large EHR systems (including Epic)Strong Python programming skillsStrong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including FHIR, HL7v2, and SMART on FHIRProficiency in solution design principles and practices, system development methodologies, and software life cyclesFamiliarity with diverse technical integrations, technologies, and processing environments, including cloud and SaaS technologiesSkilled in solving complex production issuesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate challenges and issues directly with clientsNice to haveEpic Certification(s)Prior experience with HL7, DICOM, and other interoperability standardsCloud experienceWhy Join UsShape the future of healthcare technology in a high-growth SaaS environment.
