Licensed Vocational Nurse
Job Description We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join an outpatient Medication-Assisted Treatment clinic. This role focuses on medication dispensing, patient verification, and ongoing support for individuals receiving treatment for substance use disorders. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule and a structured clinical environment.Responsibilities/ Job Duties:Provide direct nursing support within the clinic's medication dispensary, serving a high-volume outpatient population of approximately 115-120 patients per daySafely prepare and dispense Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) medications, including Methadone and Buprenorphine, using electronic dispensing and pump systemsVerify patient identity and eligibility prior to medication administration to ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standardsConduct patient check-ins and maintain an efficient, organized workflow while supporting up to approximately 80 patient interactions per shiftPerform basic nursing assessments and patient observations as needed, reporting any concerns to the clinical teamAccurately document medication administration, patient interactions, and assessments in accordance with clinic policies and state/federal regulationsCollaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary staff to support continuity of care and ensure a safe, supportive treatment environmentMinimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:Active and current California nursing or technical license (RN, LVN, or Licensed Psychiatric Technician) with valid CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications.Valid driver's license in good standing and insurability through the organization's carrier, as the position requires regular driving for work purposes.Schedule/ Shift: Monday - Friday 5am - 130pm / on call as needed* We will consider for employment all qualified Applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance (FCIHO), Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers (ULAC), The San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance (FCO), and the California Fair Chance Act (CFCA).
