Principal - Special Education (2026-2027)

Job Summary**This position is for the 2026-2027 School Year.**Under the direction of the Director in the Special Education Programs, serves as the educational leader and is responsible for the instructional program, student services and parent consultation; remain abreast of current research and trends appropriate to the population. Provide leadership to professional staff in identifying program needs as the basis for developing long and short-range plans and objectives. Identify, provide, assign, and coordinate staff development opportunities for teaching and instructional aide personnel. Supervise and evaluate the performance of all assigned personnel in accordance with the Division's adopted uniform guidelines for evaluation and assessment, recommend appropriate action in cases of substandard performances, and identify and encourage individual teachers with leadership potential.
