This position will require proficient understanding and knowledge of prime, or general contracting with experience overseeing on or more disciplines related to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Structural systems preferred.Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements including U.S. citizenship for access to classified information.ResponsibilitiesA Project Manager in the construction business plays a pivotal role in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and successfully.Here Are Some Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and Scheduling:Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules.Ensure that resources, manpower, and materials are allocated effectively.Budget ManagementPrepare and manage project budgets.Monitor expenditures and ensure that projects stay within financial constraints.Team Coordination And LeadershipOversee teams of contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and other staff.Promote collaboration and ensure that everyone is aligned with project goals.Quality Control And ComplianceConduct regular inspections to maintain high-quality standards.Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.Risk ManagementIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.Address issues promptly to minimize delays or additional costs.Client And Stakeholder CommunicationServe as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.Provide regular updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.Procurement And Resource ManagementOversee procurement of materials, tools, and equipment.Ensure the timely delivery of resources to the construction site.Problem-SolvingHandle unexpected challenges, such as site issues or material delays.Adapt plans to maintain progress without compromising quality or safety.Documentation And ReportingMaintain accurate records of project activities, financials, and progress.Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.Safety ManagementImplement and enforce safety protocols on-site.QualificationsEducation:Minimum 7+ years of experience in construction specific to MEP Systems, Modular Delivery &/or Critical Power industries with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or an Engineering discipline with a strong preference to Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering.5+ years of related MEP construction experience with a Master’s Degree with a preference in Construction Management or Engineering.Strong experience managing relationships with owners' representatives, architects, engineers, and clients on a professional level while supervising subcontractors and vendors is a priority.Extensive experience and knowledge of MEP Construction Management disciplines for Mission Critical, Government and Commercial industries.Previous experience managing diverse project teams and contractors for projects valued between $20M - $100M+ in total contract value.Ability to properly utilize software including Bluebeam, Accubid, Microsoft Project, and/or Primavera P6Position RequirementsRequired to have direct experience and clear understanding of the entire project lifecycle initiation to completion.Previous experience and exposure to MEP Construction Management, Prime Contracting, or Specialty Contracting Solutions.Proven understanding of key-competencies aligned to the project planning; installation and project completion required to ensure overall project-success.Engineering and Design DevelopmentBid-Package creation and final estimate review.Proficiency to Accubid is preferred.Project Schedule development & trackingProject Financials and Cost TrackingBusiness Acumen and Leadership abilitiesExperienced in the Commissioning and Testing of diverse specialty systems.Experience DesiredPMP CertificationModular Fabrication Project DeliveryAccubidPrimavera P6AbilitiesExposure to computer screens for an extended period.Sitting for extended periods of time.Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.Have finger dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.Identify and understand the speech of another person.
