Foodliner-Chicago, ILTrailer Pre-loader/Yard JockeyFoodliner is looking for a motivated individual to assist in pre-loading dry bulk and liquid tankers at our South Chicago IL location. Foodliner, Inc. is one of the largest bulk food carriers in the country and a Transport Topic Top 100 carrier.Position will be Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM, and occasional weekend work.Benefits include:Paid time off-80 Hours in the first year!Medical, prescription, dental, vision, short & long-term disability insurance401K with company matchCompany paid life insurance policy ($50K)Starting Pay $23.00 per hourOvertime after 40 hours. Planned 40-50 hour work week.M-F Day Shift, 6:00 AM-2:30 PMWeekly PaychecksPaid Orientation and TrainingResponsibilities and Duties:Loading pneumatic and liquid bulk tankersComplete a daily yard check and keep an inventory of trailer poolDaily communicationFollow SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and company guidelinesMaintain housekeeping and organization of the yardSupport Terminal Manager in the operation as neededBasic Qualifications:Class A CDL preferred but not required and some tractor-trailer or yard jockey experience necessary.
