This position supports the Facilities Department in the daily operation and maintenance of Axcelis’ principal manufacturing and warehousing sites. This role will contribute to the effective management of the environmental, health and safety program at Axcelis’ semiconductor equipment manufacturing facilities in Beverly, MA.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair facility structure, equipment and groundsPerform minor carpentry, painting and floor repairsPerform inspection and minor repairs of roofing systemsPerforms building and equipment preventative maintenance such as filter changes and daily inspectionsMaintain equipment logsComplete PM and daily work order requests on a computerized maintenance (CMMS) systemPerform minor repairs on mechanical equipment such as chillers, air compressors, pumps and boilersWork with skilled trades, engineers and manufacturing to complete any work requestsMonitor Building management system and respond to alarmsAssist with snow removal - shoveling/blowing/ice melt on walkways, stairs, roof, etc.Maintain snow removal equipmentParticipate in a rotating 24-hour emergency call-in programAssist with Hazardous Waste and Recycling managementBasic Qualifications1 to 3 years Facility Maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment requiredBasic industrial electrical, plumbing and HVAC understanding requiredAbility to work overtime as needed during special projects requiredAbility to works from blueprints, drawing and rough sketches requiredBuilding Management System (BMS) experience preferredComputerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience preferredEQUAL OPPORTUNITY STATEMENTIt is the policy of Axcelis to provide equal opportunity in all areas of employment for all persons free from discrimination based on race, sex, religion, age, color, national origin, disability status, medical condition (including pregnancy), veteran status, sexual orientation, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law. The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression asyou develop within the role.Base pay is one part of our U.S. total compensation package which includes eligibility in theAxcelis Team Incentive bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package (for regularemployees working 20+ hours a week).
