Position Summary: Fusion is seeking a highly experienced Program Manager to lead contract execution for a mission-critical continuity, planning, training, and operational support program in the National Capital Region. This role is responsible for overall performance, staffing, reporting, customer engagement, and delivery quality across a multi-disciplinary cleared team supporting command-and-control, emergency preparedness, and continuity-related mission requirements. Key Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day contract execution, staffing alignment, delivery quality, and schedule performance across all assigned functional areas. Prepare and deliver Monthly Status Reports, invoices, cost/status updates, and other management deliverables required by the customer. Serve as the primary interface to government leadership for execution status, issues, risks, corrective actions, and upcoming priorities. Ensure contract personnel complete tasks and deliverables on time and in accordance with mission, security, and quality requirements. Coordinate staffing actions, surge support, travel tracking, and cross-functional coverage in alignment with mission direction. Maintain visibility on current and projected travel, operational support requirements, and workforce readiness. Oversee correction and resubmission of deliverables when edits, clarifications, or government-directed changes are required. Support execution in high-security environments involving classified documentation, access controls, and sensitive mission support activities. May perform additional mission-aligned duties as required to support program objectives. Required Experience & Education Bachelor’s degree in business, national security, emergency management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in federal, defense, or national security environments. Minimum 5 years of leadership experience overseeing continuity support activities, emergency preparedness, or mission support teams. Demonstrated experience working with senior government and military stakeholders and presenting both written and oral updates. Experience producing, handling, storing, transmitting, and safeguarding classified material in TS/SCI and SAP environments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard reporting, staffing, and coordination tools. PMP certification preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing a multi-functional cleared workforce supporting operations, planning, training, and evaluation activities. Background supporting continuity of operations, continuity of government, or emergency action programs. Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with short suspense deliverables and evolving priorities. Security Clearance Requirements Candidates must have an active TS/SCI to be considered. Must be able to obtain and maintain SCI access and SAP eligibility/indoctrination as required for assigned duties. Work Conditions & Physical Requirements Work is primarily performed onsite in secure government facilities in the National Capital Region. Work schedules may include coverage between 0500 and 2000 Monday through Friday, with evening, weekend, and holiday support as mission requirements dictate. Short notice travel within and outside the continental United States may be required based on operational needs. Employees must comply with installation access, badging, operational security, and classified material handling requirements at all times. Ability to operate in a high-tempo environment with frequent coordination across multiple stakeholders and functional areas. This position supports a high-visibility federal mission and is expected to remain fully compliant with customer security, access, and performance requirements.
