This hands-on role focuses on Python development, numerical data processing, time-series analysis, and collaboration with engineering and research teams.Develop and maintain production Python applications and data pipelinesUse Pandas and NumPy for data processing, analysis, and transformationBuild ETL workflows for large and complex datasetsPerform statistical analysis, feature extraction, and exploratory data analysisProcess time-series and experimental dataImplement numerical, mathematical, and signal-processing algorithmsWrite maintainable, well-tested, documented codeOptimize applications for performance and scalabilityWork with software, embedded, and algorithm engineers to move solutions into productionRequired Qualifications5+ years of professional software engineering experienceStrong Python development skillsExtensive experience with Pandas and NumPyExperience developing production data pipelinesStrong understanding of software engineering practices, including OOP, testing, Git, code reviews, debugging, and performance optimizationExperience with numerical, structured, or time-series dataBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred – not requiredPreferredExperience with SciPy, Matplotlib, Plotly, or scikit-learnKnowledge of calculus, linear algebra, statistics, or numerical methods
