More information here: Acoustic Threat Detector - Acoem ATD’s Managing Director is being promoted within the company, which is looking to recruit his successor. The position Title: Managing Director – Acoem ATD Reports To: Acoem Group Protection Division CEO, based in France. Mission: The Managing Director is responsible for driving the strategic growth and operational execution of the Acoustic Threat Detection (ATD) business across the North American market and beyond: by developing and managing a strong network of security-focused systems integrators and channel partners by building direct relationships with end users in strategic sectors such as critical infrastructure, utilities, and smart cities. In addition to driving commercial growth, the Managing Director will actively contribute to increasing brand awareness and market visibility through marketing initiatives, industry events, partnerships, and PR activities. Team: The Managing Director will oversee and develop a US-based team of 7 professionals across sales, business development, product management, technical support, field service, administration, and marketing functions. Location: While Acoem ATD operates globally, the position can be based anywhere in the US, with a strong preference for the East coast or central time zone area, where most of the team is located, as well as their key client. Business trips, dedicated to meeting with key clients and partners, as well as attending professional events, amount to between 25 and 50% of time. Candidate profile We are looking for an entrepreneurial sales leader with a proven track record of driving growth in the B2B security, video surveillance, or physical security technology industry. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands‑on execution and thrives in fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environments. This is a high‑impact leadership role for someone who enjoys building business, developing partnerships, and creating commercial momentum in the North American market. You are a builder — someone who knows how to open doors, develop key accounts, and create long‑term customer relationships while helping structure and scale a growing organization.
