Administrative SpecialistManitowoc County Public Works Department is seeding an Administrative Specialist. This position performs a variety of accounting functions involving general ledger input and maintenance, and accounts payable responsibilities and:Assists the Business Manager with various scheduling duties and departmental reporting.Assists Business Manager in preparation and maintaining detailed financial reports, ensures the integrity of all financial records, reconciliation of accounts and assures accurate reporting of various financial transactions. Performs entry of financial information, including but not limited to: processing of accounts payable and receivable, obtaining W-9 forms, service billing, and inventory processes.Administers phone systems (land, cell lines) including but not limited to adding and deleting users, voice mail boxes, and creation and updating of phone directories.Monitors and insures updates to service agreements are recorded for all DPW divisions (Building & Grounds, Communications, Expo, Solid Waste & Recycling, and Information Systems).Provides administrative support to Expo, Solid Waste and Recycling divisions. Verifies deposits and forwards to Treasurer.Requirements:A High School diploma and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office.
