Located in Omaha, Nebraska, the organization serves youth athletes and families with high-quality coaching and resources.Role DescriptionThis is a contract position for a Soccer Academy Program Director and Coach with Sting Nebraska Youth Soccer Club, overseeing players and programs aged U4-U10. This role is on-site in Omaha, NE. Responsibilities include delivering age-appropriate coaching programs, administrative coordination for the academy, engaging and managing parent relationships, building and mentoring an academy coaching staff, and leading activities that foster skill development both individually and as a team. The Program Director will work closely with other coaches to ensure a collaborative and aligned approach toward player development and the club's objectives. The position includes coaching two academy teams as head coach aged U9-U10 and running a mastery program one evening per week seasonally. Essentially, the role requires 4 evenings of commitment Mon-Fri on the fields 5-8pm and weekend hours for games / tournaments and oversight of other academy groups.QualificationsStrong communication skills to effectively interact with players, parents, and club staffExperience and/or Competence in leading othersStrategic Planning skills to create and implement long-term development programsA passion for youth soccer and experience coaching players aged U5-U10Ability to work on-site, evenings, and weekends in Omaha, NERelevant certifications in soccer coaching or youth sports education are advantageousExperience and/or competence in recruitment and/or sales
