This position will require on-site work at one of our Virginia offices.ResponsibilitiesThis role will enable you to utilize both your linguistic and teaching skills for a mission-driven role. You will provide in-person instruction for advanced adult students (Level 2-3 certified) in Korean and may be required to summarize/gist, translate, triage, quality control and/or edit language materials into correct grammatical American English.QualificationsActive TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated PolygraphBachelor’s DegreeAbility to pass an advanced English testAbility to score Level 5 on Speaking, Listening, and Reading target language testsMinimum five (5) years’ professional experience in language teaching/instructionIn-depth knowledge of the geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural components of target language geographical areasMaster use of MS Office and internet researchDesired QualificationsHas good understanding of one or more regional dialectsConsecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation abilitiesThis position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
