DSP (Direct Support Professional)

As a COM associate you will: - Provide direct care and support to members with autism and other developmental differences - Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration - Implement member care plans - Monitor and document members' progress and challenges - Support members in community integration and participation in recreational activities - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being of the members Skills We Want: - Previous experience or new to the field - we are happy either way - Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic first aid is a plus - Ability to guide and assist members with mobility needs - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with members, families, and team members - Flexibility and willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays to help your team when there are staffing shortages - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for member transport WE WILL TRAIN YOU, but if you come with your First Aid/CPR, DSP, and CRMA certifications that would be lovely!
