We integrate operational data, market data, and external signals to deliver analytics, optimization, and AI-driven insights across healthcare, industrial, hospitality, and commercial portfolios.We are entering our next phase of platform evolution embedding AI models directly into enterprise workflows and developing intelligent agents capable of answering complex operational, financial, and market-driven questions.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Mid-to-Senior AI Developer (3+ years experience) who can design, build, deploy, and integrate AI/ML models into a production-grade SaaS environment.This role requires someone who understands both:The theory and mechanics of modern AI models, including LLMs, RAG models, and agentic structures, as well asThe practical engineering required to integrate them into enterprise systemsYou will work at the intersection of machine learning, data engineering, and full-stack application development building AI tools that operate on real-world building, energy, and market data.Key ResponsibilitiesAI & Model DevelopmentDesign, train, fine-tune, and deploy ML/AI models (predictive, optimization, NLP).Build, train, test, and deploy custom agents using the Model Context ProtocolIntegrate LLMs and open-source models into enterprise applications.Develop AI pipelines that incorporate:Enterprise operational data (IoT, building systems, CHP/turbines)Market data (weather, commodity prices, grid signals)External contextual datasetsImplement model evaluation, validation, and performance monitoring.Optimize models for latency, cost, and production scalability.Platform IntegrationEmbed AI models into a SaaS platform architecture.Build APIs and services to expose model outputs to applications and dashboards.Ensure secure, multi-tenant data handling and model isolation.Collaborate with data engineers to structure clean, model-ready datasets.Full Stack DevelopmentDevelop backend services (Python, Node, or similar).Build or contribute to front-end interfaces (React or similar frameworks).Create scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Implement CI/CD workflows and MLOps best practices.Design schemas and performance queries for SQL database managementAI Strategy & ApplicationTranslate business problems into model architectures.Evaluate when to use:Fine-tuned models vs. RAGOpen-source vs. proprietary LLMsClassical ML vs. deep learningAnalytical tools vs. reasoning modelsContribute to the roadmap for AI agents and automation tools within InSite.Required Qualifications3+ years experience in AI/ML developmentStrong proficiency in:Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, numpy, pandas, Django)LLM integration and prompt engineeringSQL databases and RAG architecturesExperience integrating AI models with enterprise datasetsExperience with open-source AI tools and frameworksSolid full-stack development skills:Backend API developmentFrontend frameworks (React or similar)Cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP)Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Understanding of model monitoring, drift detection, and production lifecyclePreferred QualificationsExperience in energy systems, building operations, CHP, turbines, microgrids, or IoTFamiliarity with time-series forecasting (load, demand, pricing)Experience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsExperience building AI agents or conversational systemsKnowledge of energy markets, grid dynamics, or energy procurement analyticsExperience working within multi-tenant SaaS environments
