The patients typically have undergone a variety of general and specialty surgical procedures, including but not limited to, vascular, gastrointestinal procedures, trauma, liver, renal, pancreas and intestinal transplantation.The interprofessional team consists of board-certified critical care specialty providers from surgery and anesthesiology, SICU fellows, advanced practice providers, registered nurses and clinical pharmacists.
