CAE Senior Analyst (Safety)Position Summary: Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to solve Crash Structural Safety problems supporting upfront design across automotive, aerospace, entertainment, and industrial sectors.Responsibilities:Build safety models using LS-Dyna, Radioss, Abaqus ExplicitRun crash, strength/durability simulations; postprocess resultsCollaborate with CAE teams to enhance predictive accuracyManage multiple projects independently; communicate directly with customersMentor junior analysts; develop innovative techniquesRequired Qualifications:BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (FEA, Strength of Materials coursework)3+ years safety modeling experience (ANSA, Hypermesh, LS-DYNA)Full vehicle structural FEA analysis and test correlationStrong problem-solving; hand calculations and free body diagramsPreferred Qualifications:MS or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace EngineeringPython, VBA, or C automation skillsOccupant safety, restraint systems experienceSafety protocols: FMVSS, NCAP, IIHS, EuroNCAP, CFR Part 25
