Application Developer II

Overview In this role you will help build and maintain McCarthy’s application and integration portfolio within the Enterprise Solutions and Analytics team. You will drive modernization and innovation using DevSecOps practices, integrating systems and AI-enabled solutions on Palantir. You collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver reusable, secure, and scalable integrations that support end users and business goals. This position offers growth through cross-functional work and exposure to cutting-edge technologies. ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop integration solutions using standard patterns for data modeling, transfer, and event-based processingLeverage REST APIs, message queues, and remote process execution for solution deliveryCreate solutions capable of handling structured and unstructured data (images, videos, model files)Design and develop Palantir-based AI platform applications and integrate them into McCarthy’s ecosystemPromote modular, reusable components and enterprise-wide integrationMaintain a robust integration environment to support long-term flexibilityEvaluate new applications/platforms to assist procurement decisionsProvide technical support to application teams to resolve issues quicklyFollow security practices: input validation, avoid secrets, least privilege, strong cryptography, log sanitization, threat modeling, shift-left securityFollow agile practices in project planning and executionContinuously seek improvements in performance, automation, and user experienceBuild strong partnerships with internal IT and business analysts to translate requirements into solutionsCollaborate with product owners to implement user stories effectively Key requirements3+ years with an enterprise iPaaS (Boomi, Mulesoft, SnapLogic)Boomi experience preferredStrong knowledge of database capabilities and API-driven integration frameworksStrong SQL skillsSolid understanding of JSON and XMLExperience with AI platforms like Palantir is a plus3–5 years of modern stack app development (e.g., .NET 6+/C#, Node.js/TypeScript, Python, Ruby) building RESTful and event-driven components; CI/CD deployments; container and cloud familiarity a plusWorking knowledge of DevSecOps tools and practices (DAST/SAST/SCA/secrets scanning); examples: Checkmarx, OWASP, GitHub, Snyk, TerraformPractical experience with secure file transfer (SFTP), key management, and PGP encryption in pipelinesKnowledge of AWS, Azure, and Office 365Experience with Agile and ScrumStrong communication and collaboration skillsConstant learner with passion for growthStrong interpersonal and communication skillsTeam player with collaborative mindsetAgile mindset and adaptabilityBo​omi/Mulesoft/SnapLogic (iPaaS)Palantir AI platformRESTful services
