Communications Associate

My name is Hailey Dickinson and I am a Social Media and Digital Communications Consultant based in the Twin Cities. I am a contractor who works with several arts and music organizations, non-profits, and festivals in Minnesota.I am seeking a Communications Associate for 5-10 hours per week to assist me with client work through the summer. The person in this role will primarily be focused on social media content creation and creating email newsletters.A successful candidate will have:At least 1 year experience creating graphics for social media using Canva or another platformAt least 1 year experience writing content for social media, e-newsletters, and/ or websitesWorking knowledge of Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or comparable platformsAbility to work independently and manage time when working remotelyGood communication skillsValues like inclusion, community, and equity are a must for this positionBonus, but not required:Basic video editing skills with Capcut or another editing toolKnowledge and/or interest in working in the nonprofit and/ or arts industryThis is a 1099 contract position paid at $23/ hour for 5-10 hours per week through August 2026, with the possibility for extension.
