Production Associate

Entry-Level Assembler to assemble gas and electric meters in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include assembling components, performing basic testing/inspection steps, and packaging finished products while meeting safety and quality standards. This is a temp-to-hire position. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assemble gas and electric meter components using hand tools and small fixtures/jigs Follow work instructions, visual aids, and standard procedures to complete builds accurately Perform basic functional checks and in-process quality inspections as trained Identify and report defects, missing parts, or equipment issues to the lead/supervisor Label and package finished meters per production/customer requirements Complete required production documentation or system entries Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety requirements Schedule (Select One) Weekday (Mon-Thu) - 10-hour shifts Day Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM ( $16.75/hr ) Night Shift: 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM ( $18.75/hr ) Weekend - 12-hour shifts Weekend Day: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM ( Friday-Sunday ) ( $18.50/hr ) Weekend Night: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM ( Thursday-Saturday nights ) ( $19.25/hr ) Qualifications Required Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable attendance and punctuality (overtime required) Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks Ability to lift 40+ lbs Preferred (not required) Manufacturing or assembly experience Experience using hand tools (screwdrivers, torque tools, crimpers, etc.) Experience with basic inspection/testing steps Employment Type: Full Time
