Industrial Electrician

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Summary: We have a need on 2nd Shift from 2:00 pm tomidnight. Overtime is consistently 10 hours a week. This position isresponsible for the general upkeep of all kinds of feed mill relatedequipment, conveyors, motors, VFDs, troubleshooting controls, work onautomated packaging equipment, typical electrician duties (runningwires, running conduit, upkeep on plant lighting, adding or deletingequipment), and anything else deemed necessary by management. TheMaintenance Electrician will support production by redesigning,modifying, repairing and installing electrical equipment in afast-paced, high quality pet food manufacturing facility. Requiresknowledge of electrical control systems whether PLC based or simplerelay logic. Job Requirements: Strong experience in at least two of thefollowing; extrusion processes, high speed packaging equipment,pneumatics, gear boxes, and pumps. Troubleshoot and repair mechanicalissues and minor electrical issues. Utilize technical documentation(prints, manuals, specifications, etc.) to aid in troubleshooting. RootCause analysis to prevent failure reoccurrence. Develop, document, andperform preventive maintenance to minimize down time Work as a team withall members of the Maintenance Department. Able to lift 50 lbs. and workat heights of 40+ feet. Safety conscious always. Proactive withpotential failures to prevent unplanned down time. The ability toaccomplish electrical repairs and troubleshooting on motors, VFD\'s.Applies knowledge and experience to independently improve maintenancetechniques and operations. Research, develop, and document criticalspare parts for equipment. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE ANDQUALIFICATIONS: Preferred Skills: Experience with extruders or otherfood manufacturing equipment.
