AV Technician

AV TechnicianLocation: Raleigh, North CarolinaPay Range: $28-$33/ hourDuration: 4-month contract to hireRole Overview:This role is responsible for installing, modifying, repairing, and maintaining AV integrated systems-including audio, video, and control equipment. The Level III Tech will also manage field operations for assigned projects, including oversight of Level I and II techs.Key Responsibilities Include:Install, terminate, and test low-voltage and fiber optic cablingRoute cabling through conduits and ceilings as per job specsRead technical schematics and manualsBuild and test AV equipment racksEnsure all project tools, hardware, and materials are availableLabel cables properly and make red-line changes when neededHandle DSP changes and control code loadsMaintain high quality and safety standardsSubmit paperwork and weekly status reports on timePerform other duties as assigned Physical & Work Environment Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 lbsWork in non-climate-controlled or construction environmentsRegular climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling requiredAbility to use hand tools and coordinate physical movements over long periodsAbout Us:At Anistar Technologies, we connect individuals from a variety of industries with respected companies, both nationally and internationally.
