AP Computer Science Tutor (Remote)

TPAPT, a national nonprofit consortium of over 12,000 locally owned and operated tutoring & college advising programs, is seeking experienced AP Computer Science instructors to work with students in grades 9‐12.Tutors will work closely with students to understand their unique learning styles and create customized lesson plans that support their individual academic goals.The ideal candidate is passionate about education, exhibits strong communication skills, and has instructed or tutored these specific AP courses in the past.Company: TPAPT ChapterTests: AP CSClassification: ContractCompensation: $30‐$35 per hourLocation: OnlinePositionProvide AP Test Prep tutoring to students in grades 9‐12Tutoring assignments are 60‐90 minutesTutoring assignments will be regular and reliableTutoring sessions are generally scheduled between 2 PM and 8 PM PST during the week and between 10 AM and 4 PM on weekend daysRequirements2 years of experience teaching or tutoring College Board's AP Computer Science program3‐12 hours per week of availabilityEarned Bachelor's degreeExceptionally strong communication skillsA passion for helping others learnBenefits$30‐$35 per hour, commensurate100% remoteFlexible scheduleNo marketing responsibilities#J-18808-Ljbffr
