The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, automation scripting, API testing, and CI/CD integration, with the ability to independently own testing efforts across features and modules.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks from scratchDevelop automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and programming languages such as Java (preferred), C#, or PythonExecute functional, regression, and integration testing for web and API-based applicationsIntegrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and RestAssuredValidate backend data using SQL queriesCollaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality softwareCreate and maintain test plans, test cases, and test strategiesManage and track defects through the full defect lifecycleEnsure test coverage through risk-based testing and end-user perspective validationParticipate in continuous improvement of QA processes and automation practicesRequired Qualifications6–8+ years of experience in QA and test automationStrong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriverProficiency in Java (preferred), or C#/Python for automation scriptingExperience with TestNG, JUnit, or NUnitFamiliarity with Maven or Gradle for build managementExperience with version control tools (Git)Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)Solid experience in API testing and SQL for data validationStrong understanding of testing principles, test design techniques, and regression strategiesExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsAbility to work independently and take ownership of testing deliverablesPreferred QualificationsExperience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)Experience with Selenium Grid and parallel executionExposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter)Familiarity with Docker and containerizationUnderstanding of DevOps practices and shift-left testingExperience testing microservices architectureBasic knowledge of security testing
