This will involve seeing new and follow-up patients. Provider must be willing to travel to all locations.Participating in the inpatient cardiology rounding service. Non-Invasive Cardiology call rotation Q7 - Weeknight call 5:00 pm-8:00 am Weekend call 24 hoursParticipating in the noninvasive cardiology call schedule.Participating in reading rest/stress echoes and nuclear studies performing TEEs and cardioversions.The Non-Invasive Cardiologist provides direct patient care in the clinic and hospital setting and examines and treats patients with cardiovascular disorders and diseases. Consult with customers and their families to determine the appropriate course of treatment and recommend and order tests to help diagnose the condition and/or determine the extent of the illness. Work with a health care management team to provide continuity of care and unmatched customer service to our cardiology patients.Perform general cardiology duties as assigned in support of the Blaze cardiology group including but not limited to: cardiology call coverage responding to emergent cardiac cases as appropriate inpatient rounding clinic services outreach services reading cardiac imaging and other responsibilities consistent with training and medical staff privileging.Level 1 Trauma CenterAverage Number of Clinic Patients Per Day: 12-14Average Number of Inpatient Admissions Per Physician Per Day: Not responsible for direct admissions Hospitalists will handle admissions 5-10 consults per dayNumber of Cardiologists Physician in Group: 17Will the Locum Physician be Required to Supervise Other Health Care Providers?
