Accounts Payable & Cash Management Specialist (PeopleSoft)Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Cash Management Specialist with strong PeopleSoft experience to support daily financial operations. This role will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, overseeing cash management functions, and ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts PayableProcess full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice entry, coding, and approvalsMatch invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents (3-way match)Maintain vendor records and resolve vendor inquiriesPrepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire paymentsEnsure compliance with company policies and internal controlsReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesAssist with month-end close related to AP activitiesCash ManagementMonitor daily cash balances and cash positioningPerform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepanciesManage cash applications and electronic paymentsAssist with cash forecasting and reportingCoordinate with banks regarding ACH, wire transfers, and account activitySupport treasury-related functions as neededSystems & ReportingUtilize PeopleSoft for invoice processing, payment generation, and reportingGenerate and analyze AP and cash management reportsMaintain accurate financial records within the ERP systemAssist with system improvements and process optimizationQualifications3–7+ years of Accounts Payable and Cash Management experienceHands-on experience with PeopleSoft (required)Strong understanding of full-cycle AP processesExperience with bank reconciliations and cash management functionsProficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP preferred)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsThis position is required to be onsite one day a week in NJ however they might look at fully remote.
