Program Coordinator, PolicyDescriptionOur Public Policy Campaign Team exists to further the interests of our community of hosts and guests with politicians, regulators, opinion leaders and others who shape the political and legal context for our business, helping them to understand the significant social and economic contributions of our platform. Across the North America (“NAMER”) region, US and Canada specifically, we are engaged in hundreds of local conversations and negotiations with governments big and small. We engage governments at local, state, provincial and national levels directly and also use innovative advocacy and partnership strategies that actively involve our community and our stakeholders in making the case for fair, progressive home sharing rules.The difference you will make:With so much going on in so many places, we are seeking an experienced organizational and administrative professional to join the team as a Program Coordinator.You're meticulously organized and detail-oriented, but can also see the big picture and make judgements about priorities whenever needed. You are target-focused and find the fastest, most efficient way to get to our destination. You’re a great team player without ego, who is willing to take on projects big and small. You’re capable of working in cross-functional teams across cultures and timezones. You have excellent communication skills and an ability to take big ideas and translate them into actions. You can quickly navigate new and unfamiliar systems and processes - and design your own.DutiesServe as point of contact for vendor registration and onboarding of new vendors. Track vendor status and assist with any issues that may arise.Process vendor payments including collecting tax information, invoices and additional payment information as needed.Provide vendors and internal stakeholders updates regarding payment or contract status. Maintain accurate payment records and budget information.Develop strong vendor and internal stakeholder relations and maintain effective communication channels.Assist Regional Program Coordinator with ad-hoc operations projects such as offsite planning and virtual events.Build effective relationships with other teams as necessary.Requirements4+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, including supporting a team in an administrative capacityExpertise in Google suite, especially Sheets, Slides, and DocsExperience in vendor managementAn ability to exercise judgment and maintain strict confidentialityStrong written and verbal communication skillsExhibit strong process-oriented skills and strive to find the most efficient way to do things without sacrificing a high quality of work and/or resultsDemonstrated ability to work effectively with leadership and collaborate with colleagues to achieve goals and deliver on prioritiesProven track record of being reliable, prepared, responsive and eager to learn Strong prioritization, multitasking and time management skillsAcute passion for trying, learning, improving, and sharing best practicesFlexible, with the ability to remain poised under pressureExperience on a political campaign and/or a public policy team is a plusCompensation$32.56 – 37.59/hr W—2Req ID37600696
