This is a general neurology role focused on providing high-quality, patient-centered care across a broad range of neurological conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with common neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, headaches, seizures, neuropathy)Perform comprehensive neurological assessments and develop treatment plansCollaborate with neurologists, hospitalists, and interdisciplinary teamsProvide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up careParticipate in inpatient consults and/or outpatient clinic visits as assignedDocument care in the electronic medical record in a timely mannerQualificationsGraduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant programCurrent Illinois license or eligibility for licensureBoard certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, or equivalent)Prior neurology or inpatient experience preferred, but not requiredStrong clinical, communication, and organizational skillsSchedule & Work EnvironmentFull-time positionMix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilitiesDaytime schedule with occasional weekend or call coverage depending on department needsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salaryComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, visionRetirement plan with employer contributionPaid time off and CME allowanceAbout the OrganizationSaint Mary of Nazareth Hospital is a community-focused hospital dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
