Full-time opening Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. No nights, weekends or holidays $17.37 - $18.00/hour (typical starting wage - may vary depending on experience level)Outpatient clinical practiceDay-to-DayPerform back office functionsAssist the provider in the interviewing, examination and treatment of patientsMeasure vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight and heightDocument patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (NextGen)Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare teamWho We Are Seeking (preferred)A CNA, PCT or EMT (or other clinical worker) who would like to apply their skills to learn how to function as a Medical Assistant in a doctor's office environment.The Medical Assistant is highly visible in their interactions with patients and must therefore project a positive office image at all times including smiling, greeting patients with enthusiasm, and maintaining an upbeat, positive attitude in all interactions with patients and coworkers.
