Position Summary We are seeking an experienced AV Technician to support the daily audiovisual technology needs of our organization. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality end-user support, assisting with the installation and configuration of AV equipment, performing break/fix maintenance, and providing operational support for internal meetings and events. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, technically proficient, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced corporate environment. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line support for audiovisual systems, meeting room technology, and related end-user issuesTroubleshoot and resolve AV hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely mannerAssist with the installation, setup, configuration, and testing of AV equipment and systemsEnsure meeting rooms and AV spaces remain organized, functional, and ready for usePerform routine break/fix maintenance and basic repairs on AV devices and infrastructureSupport internal meetings, presentations, and company events by preparing, operating, and monitoring AV equipment as neededConduct pre-event room checks to ensure all technology is functioning properly and rooms are fully preparedRespond to service requests promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfactionEscalate complex technical issues to senior AV staff, IT teams, or external vendors when appropriateMaintain inventory of AV equipment, accessories, and spare partsDocument support procedures, service activity, and equipment status accuratelyAdhere to company safety standards, operational procedures, and technical best practices QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred3-5 years of experience in AV support, IT support, event technology, or a related fieldSolid knowledge of audiovisual systems, including displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, video conferencing platforms, and control systemsExperience supporting conference rooms, training rooms, or corporate event spacesFamiliarity with platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebexBasic understanding of signal flow, structured cabling, and AV rack equipmentExperience troubleshooting cabling, connectivity, and device compatibility issuesAbility to quickly learn and support new technologies and toolsStrong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to lift and move AV equipment, including video displays and related hardware, up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodationFlexibility to support occasional early morning, evening, or special event schedules Preferred QualificationsExperience using ticketing systems or service management toolsAVIXA CTS or CTS-I certificationRelevant manufacturer training and certifications Work EnvironmentPrimarily an in-house, on-site role within a corporate office environmentRegular interaction with employees, presenters, vendors, and event stakeholdersRequires movement between meeting rooms, offices, and event spaces throughout the dayOccasional travel to other office locations may be required We are an E-Verify employer - all hired positions require successfully passing an E-Verify Check.
