Key Responsibilities:
Work with the Sales Manager to develop market-specific strategies.
Executes the strategies, account plans and call plans.
Meets proposed sales volume and selling expense budgets and forecasts for the region.
Nurture & build customer relationships while preserving the ability to: negotiate effectively
with customers, close sales, identify unmet and/or latent customer needs & communicate these
with the Sales Manager. Minimize outstanding past-due balances, broaden & deepen the business
relationship with the customer.
Meets performance objectives.
Embrace & actively drive implementation of more effective sales processes
and practices.
Take on leadership roles in industry associations.
Manage customer complaints & resolutions along with the Sales, Production and Quality
Control Manager.
Confers with the Sales Manager to develop sales objectives for market areas and recommends
pricing strategies and promotional programs for key customers, introduces new and existing
customers to new product lines to promote growth of market share.
Assists in identifying, working with and tracking projects in the early stage of development.
Forecasts short and long term sales volumes. Monitors market conditions and their possible
effects on the company.
Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in
all work environments and areas.
Other duties as assigned by management.
