Hi Greetings,We’re partnering with a leading Education Domain client to hire a Senior Cloud Security Engineer who will play a critical role in securing enterprise-scale AWS environments and supporting application teams with security best practices.If you’re passionate about cloud security, threat detection, and automation, this is a great opportunity to make an impact!Role: Senior Cloud Security EngineerLocation: RemoteType: Long-Term ContractWhat You’ll DoAct as the security SME supporting multiple application teamsWork with AWS security services & telemetry (CloudTrail, IAM, VPC Flow Logs, CloudWatch)Design and support security automation using Python, JavaScript, AWS CDK & CloudFormationLead threat hunting, detection engineering, and incident response effortsImprove SIEM detections and reduce false positives (Sumo Logic experience is a plus)Align detection strategies with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CKWhat We’re Looking For3–5 years of experience in cyber defense / cloud securityStrong hands-on experience in AWS environmentsExpertise in SIEM, threat hunting, and incident responseExperience with scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash)Ability to communicate findings clearly and collaborate with teamsA proactive mindset with curiosity for evolving threatsNice to HaveExperience with purple team exercisesCertifications like Security+, GCIH, GCIA, AWS Security SpecialtyExposure to containers, serverless, CI/CD pipelinesAdditional Info:Occasional travel (1–3 times/year)Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
