*Job Summary and Responsibilities*As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction.Every day, you will deliver compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and actively contribute to the patient's plan of care as a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, upholding the highest standards of conduct and patient well-being.To be successful in this role, you will possess a dedicated spirit of service, strong communication skills, a meticulous approach to patient support, and an unwavering commitment to our mission of dignified, high-quality healthcare. The CNA observes patients for physical and psychological abnormalities and/or changes and reports findings in a timely manner to the RN. The CNA respects patient privacy and confidentiality. The CNA assists with patient mobility and transfers utilizing appropriate lift equipment. The CNA provides direct patient care (VS, I & O, ADLs, etc.) according to hospital policy and CNA practice standards, and reports outcomes of care to the RN. The CNA prioritizes nursing care for patients and departmental specific duties with assistance of the RN based on individual patient and unit needs. The CNA has the physical ability sufficient to provide safe and effective nursing care such as mobilizing from room to room, performing/assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and positioning patient/client; and to perform emergency medical procedures, such as basic cardiac life support (BLS). The CNA accurately and legibly documents nursing care activities in the medical record (paper and/or computer) according to hospital policy. The CNA has the ability to verbally communicate information and ideas in a manner others will understand; the ability to listen and understand the information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences; the ability to identify and understand the speech of another person; and the ability to communicate in (read and write) and understand the written word.Job Requirements*Required 6 months clinical experience in an acute facility. Graduate from a fully accredited CNA Program. Required to be flexible in scheduling. CT NA = Certified Nursing Assistant license from NV State Nursing Board.
