Machine Operator/Material Handler

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator/Material Handler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery, handling materials efficiently, and ensuring production processes run smoothly and safely. Your expertise in machine operation, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and materials handling will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards and optimizing manufacturing workflows. Responsibilities Operate various manufacturing machines including CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, with precision and adherence to safety standards. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to accurately set up and run equipment. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on industrial machinery to minimize downtime. Handle raw materials and finished products Conduct dimensional measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications. Follow shop math principles for calculations related to fabrication, machining tolerances (GD&T), and assembly requirements. Maintain detailed production records, quality control documentation, and to ensure compliance with company standards. Skills Proficiency in operating CNC equipment including CNC programming and CAM programming for efficient machining processes. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Experience with shop math, factory operations, materials handling, tooling setup, and assembly line processes.
