**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction estimating and will be responsible for accurately pricing projects, managing budgets, and ensuring the successful completion of projects. This role is critical to our business and requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is a not a remote job. Must be in levelland office daily.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide detailed estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assess the feasibility of projects.
- Call sub contractors to get pricing and qualifing estimates
- Utilize specialized software such as Bluebeam and Procore to create comprehensive estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that estimates meet project requirements.
- Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors to ensure that all parties are satisfied with the terms.
- Monitor project cost adjust estimates as necessary to ensure cost control.
- Participate in the bidding process and ensure that our company's bids are competitive and profitable.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of project estimates and costs.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in construction estimating, with a strong understanding of construction techniques and processes.
- Familiarity with construction project management software, including Bluebeam and HeavyBid.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and project managers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to construction sites.
