The region is located in the Northeastern corner of the State.The ideal Provider will be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and either have an active license in Kentucky to practice medicine, or have their IMLC LOQ in-hand.IMLC LOQ = Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification.(If you have not looked into IMLC, it is an absolute door-opener. I highly recommend it!)/This Client offers competitive compensation for the right candidate.ProTouch covers all travel expenses & malpractice with tail coverage.Location: Boyd County, KentuckyJob Type: Locum / ContractDuration of Assignment: Ongoing -Shifts: 12 hours shifts, 7a-7p, 10a-10p, 2p-2a, 7p-7aPractice Details:New ED with 75 exam rooms under construction and opening late 2024-2524-hour Cath LabScribes work alongside physiciansAdditional 10-bed overflow unitNo CallEMR- EpicED Volume- 65,000Specialty Back Up: All specialty backup available, except for Ophthalmology, OMFS, and hand surgeryRequirements:Must have PALS, ATLS, ACLSABEM preferred; FM/IM with extensive ED experience including Trauma (at least 3 years with a minimum of 250 case logs in the last calendar year, prior work in level II trauma center or academic center).Required to be boardedActive KY license or IMLC. (LOQ in-hand.)MUST be open to working days and nights including weekends.
