Our mission is to be the preferred ecosystem for providers to build and grow thriving private practices.About The RoleWe are seeking a Payer Enablement Specialist to play a critical role in building and maintaining Tava’s payer infrastructure across our systems. This individual will own payer configurations within our EMR, fee schedule management, and the documentation and workflows that enable scalable payer operations. Reporting to the VP of Payer Operations and Strategy, this role will work cross-functionally with Payer Operations, RCM, and Product to ensure payer requirements are accurately translated into system logic and operational processes.You will play a key role in improving operational efficiency and helping Tava scale payer operations while continuously identifying ways to reduce manual work and improve system quality.What You’ll DoPayer Configuration & System ManagementBuild and maintain payer configurations within Tava’s EMRTranslate payer requirements into system logic and configuration standardsEnsure consistency and standardization across payer setupsFee Schedule & Revenue IntegrityManage fee schedules and validate contracted ratesIdentify and resolve discrepancies in Tava’s EMR and across other platformsSupport accurate reimbursement through precise configurationDocumentation & Knowledge ManagementMaintain SOPs and Insurance Articles to reflect current workflows and payer requirementsContinuously improve documentation for clarity and usabilityLeverage AI tools for operational documentation efficiencyOperational Collaboration & EnablementPartner with Payer Operations, RCM, Product, and Payer PartnershipsSupport troubleshooting, payer updates, and system-related issuesProvide clear operational context to support system improvementsQuality Assurance & Continuous ImprovementAudit configurations and workflows to ensure accuracy and consistencyIdentify inefficiencies or patterns in errors and escalate appropriatelyProactively identify opportunities to reduce manual work using tools, automation, and AIWhat We’re Looking ForExperience in operations, consulting, analytics, or a related field, or strong analytical training through university courseworkStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex systemsHigh attention to detail and a strong sense of ownershipCuriosity and willingness to learn the healthcare payer and revenue cycle spaceStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyComfort using modern tools (including AI) to improve workflows and efficiencyYou are excited about using AI and modern tools to rethink how operational work gets done, rather than simply executing existing processesNice-to-Have ExperienceDigital health experienceExperience in high-growth environmentsExperience with custom systems, rules engines, or configuration-heavy platformsWhy You'll Love Working With UsEnjoy working remotely in this full-time, salaried position with Tava.
