Construction Superintendent

Job Description: Unique Development is located in Syracuse, NY and we are looking for a Construction Superintendent. We are looking for someone who is willing to travel to run jobsites in Syracuse along with traveling up to 50% of the time to jobsites outside of the greater Syracuse area. Night and weekend work may be required depending on specific job schedules. Major Responsibilities: Oversee daily operation of construction projects Publish and maintain construction schedule throughout duration of the project Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed Ability to do a blueprint take off for a scope of work, and line it up with our contracts to determine where we are covered and where there are redundancies Hold weekly status meetings on action items from the past week, and action items for the upcoming week Communicate project progress with clients and project managers Manage subcontractors and construction site organization Requirements: 3 - 5 years of experience in construction industry running a jobsite Strong project management and communications skills Ability to read construction documents Familiarity with regulatory construction standards Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $65,000.00 per year Experience level: 3 years Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Ability to Relocate: Syracuse, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
