Quality Control Inspector
Location: Leesburg, VADuration: W2 12+ Month ContractShift: Monday - Friday, 12:00 PM - 9:00 PMJob Description:You'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of implants, instruments, and gauges. Your duties will include inspecting products to verify they meet quality specifications, performing receiving inspections, and handling related activities.Key Responsibilities:Perform visual and dimensional inspections of products using standard and custom gages.Read blueprints and inspection guide sheets.Conduct document reviews and Product Verification Inspections (PVI) to comply with GMP requirements.Perform material and component receiving inspections.Inspect, calibrate, and qualify gages.Verify First Article Inspection (FAI) data.Use Oracle system for Router Inspections and document non-conforming materials.Education & Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent (prefer vocational/technical training and GD&T training).3+ years of product inspection experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment.Experience with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) and reading blueprints.Basic proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.Must be flexible with working hours and able to work overtime as needed.Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.Preferred Experience:Inspection of hand finishing, buffing, laser-marking, masking, or blasting processes.Knowledge of FDA CFR 820 and EN 13485 Regulations.Experience in medical device quality control and packaging processes.
