Job Title: Remote Medical Coder (CCS / CCA / RHIT)
Job Type: Contractor
Location: Remote
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Arizona Time)
Hourly Pay: $35 per hour (no benefits included)
Must have >2 years of experience in inpatient coding.
Responsibilities:
Review and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes for inpatient medical records.
Ensure compliance with all coding guidelines, regulations, and standards.
Perform coding and abstracting tasks accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a high level of quality and productivity.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify diagnoses and procedures when necessary.
Stay current with coding updates and changes in the healthcare industry.
Certifications & Qualifications:
Must have AHIMA certification in one of the following: CCS, CCA, RHIT, or RHIA.Must have their own computer and connect to server A minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient coding
