Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Flowly Solutions is actively hiring an environmental health and safety manager for our production team. This is a permanent position with the goal of having the employee grow in the role. The schedule will be from Monday through Friday, no weekend work will be required. The working hours are a day shift, we are flexible with the exact schedule you will be working. The ideal candidate will have experience both in safety and environmental compliance. This is a very hands on and involved job. You will be working directly with the production side of the business to ensure everything safety related is up to code. Experience in calculating carbon output is a plus. We are a relocation business specializing in moving, assembling and repair. We offer a variety of other services as well. Responsibilities: Maintaining the safety and compliance of the entire production facility Following all Cal OSHA regulations and remaining educated on changes in requirements Hosting safety training and orientations for new and current employees Performing investigations on workplace accidents and working directly with worker's compensation Handling return to work plans for injured employees Created reports on production carbon output and waste Observing employees and production to locate areas of improvement and any compliance issues Presenting in front of large groups for meeting and safety discussions Learning about our field and developing your understanding of our products Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in health and safety management Experience in environmental reporting Prior experience hosting programs such as LOTO or Respirator use Computer literacy and the ability to learn our programs Experience working in a production environment is preferred An understanding of OSHA requirements No formal education is required Benefits: Competitive pay and bonuses are offered for high performing employees Pay range from $54.00 - $72.00 per hour depending on experience Competitive medical and dental insurance plans 401k retirement plans Holiday Pay Flowly Solutions is an EEO - equal opportunity employer
