AssemblerWage: $20.00/hourShift: 2nd shift 2:30PM-10:30PM M-F (overtime as needed)Training: 6AM-2:30PM M-FWe are searching for candidates with prior assembly or fabrication experience and a steady work history for our Assembler role located in Riverside, MO. If interested, please apply with an updated work history.Assembler Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Perform mechanical assembly of piping components and systems (2"36") in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructionsConduct in-process inspections to verify dimensional accuracy, part orientation, and overall conformance to specifications; escalate discrepancies as neededMaintain accurate inspection and production records, ensuring final products meet or exceed internal and customer quality standardsInspect and verify tools for safe operation; ensure calibration is current and compliantUse Medix to accurately interpret job packets and spool documentationComplete all required daily checklists, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks, and 5S housekeeping duties to support a clean, organized, and efficient work environmentCollaborate effectively with Line Leads, Supervisors, Engineering, and Operations to resolve technical issues related to part drawings, BOMs, and assembly modelsAssembler Requirements:Prior experience in a manufacturing or mechanical assembly environment is preferredFamiliarity with Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and SOPs is beneficialBasic proficiency with Microsoft Windows and general computer systems is preferredStrong understanding of basic math, including fractions and decimals; ability to use tape measures and precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, vernier scales)Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints is a plusEffective written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environmentQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
