We partner with a variety of non-profits that speak to our core values from sectors including health, human services, social programs, professional organizations, and legislative advocacy groups.Job DescriptionThe Senior Data Processing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the proper cleansing and processing of data for direct mail, email and telemarketing projects. The processor will maintain data integrity and quality control of all data files to a broad range of clients in verticals such as insurance, financial services, healthcare, non-profits, associations, and political campaigns. The processor must be extremely detail oriented, as well as have strong technical skills in BCC, First Logic, Alteryx, and Access.Responsibilities:Manage multiple data processing projects across a variety of political and nonprofit clients.Convert outside lists (multiple data files) and create audit reports for review by List/Account Planning departments to confirm accurate data is received for Acquisition projectsProvide population and frequency reports for all data files; including demographic appendsPrepare and update data for NCOA/CASS/Deceased processingUpdate software monthly, or as needed - includes proprietary demographic database NexieBase, etc.Create and interpret Data Processing instructions writing by Account Teams and Account Planning teamsBuild and Run Merge Purge and de-duplication processing within BCC and/or First Logic and provide quality audit reportsApply detailed segmentation and complex Nthing of data according to instructionsKeycode and append ask strings to data fileCreate proof files including name verification audit reportsRun and Prepare Ad hoc data processing projects and reportingProvide status and project updates to internal teams and clientsTrack and report billable time per client and project.Automate programming for all regular direct mail projects as well as ad hoc automation projects to improve efficiency and quality.Requirements:College degree or relevant work experience8+ years data hygiene and cleansing experienceExtensive experience with understanding, building, and executing Merge Purge/Deduplication processes within BCC softwareMust be proficient with Outlook, Excel, Access, BCC, Alteryx, SQLExperience working in a production environment with tight deadlinesExperience with workflow, project, or process managementAssets:Exceptional problem solving and analytical skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAn innovative, positive, and self-directed attitudeTeam-oriented, enthusiastic, self-starter with a strong interest in "figuring out" solutions to problemsDirect marketing experience strongly preferred.Ability to create data processing instructions for associates a plusNexus Direct is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, celebrating diversity and fostering an inclusive environment for every team member.What's in it for you:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including 85% health care coverage, 401(k), FSA and unlimited PTO.
