Collections Specialist

Fully Remote, 1 week onsite training in Richmond ** Seeking strong Collections Specialists for 2nd shift **Must be available Tuesday-Friday, 1230p-9pm and Saturdays 830a-5p.MAGNIFY is excited to share an immediate opening for a talented, productive Collections Specialist to join our RVA client’s Collections Department!The Collections Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the organization receives all necessary payments from debtors. Primary duties include monitoring accounts receivables to identify debts owed to the company, contacting customers or business partners to notify them of past due and overdue payments, and documenting debts collected.NOTES:This position will train on-site for 2 weeks 8:30-5est and transition to FULLY REMOTE!Must be available Tuesday-Friday, 1230p-9pm and Saturdays 830a-5p.Daily Requirements:Review and monitor accounts receivable to identify overdue accounts.Reach out to customers with past due/overdue account balances and attempt to collect the amount or negotiate payment arrangements.Skip tracing to locate customers who have moved or changed phone numbers.Update CRM system to accurately reflect collection efforts, payments made, pending arrangements, balances closed out, etc.Resolve customer issues and complaints.Submit reports as required for unpaid accounts and progress on repayment.Qualifications:Must be available Tuesday-Friday, 1230p-pm and Saturdays 830a-5p.Collections experience preferably within the banking space.Strong negotiation skills, and the ability to overcome objection.Outbound calling experience.Clean background.Ability to type 35-40 wpm.
