MSBI Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced MSBI Data Architect with strong expertise in SQL Server, data warehousing, and BI reporting solutions. The role involves designing scalable data models, building ETL pipelines, and delivering enterprise-grade reporting solutions using MSBI and Power BI stack.Required SkillsStrong expertise in MS SQL Server (complex queries, views, stored procedures)Experience in designing and developing ETL pipelines using SSISStrong hands-on experience in Power BI development, including scalable and reusable solutionsExperience integrating data from multiple sources (on-prem, cloud, APIs) into Power BIStrong understanding of data modeling and performance optimizationAdvanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query transformationsExperience in SSRS report development and supportStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical usersAbility to work independently and in a team environmentDomain knowledge of manufacturing or metals industry (preferred)ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specificationsDesign and re-architect SQL-based data warehouse solutions based on evolving source systemsDevelop and maintain scalable ETL processes using SSISBuild and optimize Power BI dashboards and semantic data modelsModify existing standards and custom solutions based on business requirementsAnalyze production issues and provide timely resolutionsWork closely with offshore teams, provide requirements, and oversee delivery qualityPerform testing and validation of BI applications and data pipelinesEstimate effort, timelines, and support project planning for enhancementsDevelop and maintain technical documentation and design specifications
