Java Developer

Job Summary - Java Developer Location: Newark DE Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver software solutions. Develop, test, and maintain applications using Java/J2EE technologies. Utilize Spring Boot as the primary framework; experience with Spring Batch and Spring Integration is a plus. Apply object-oriented design and programming principles. Implement persistence using ORM frameworks such as Hibernate, iBatis/MyBatis, Kafka, or JPA. Develop and consume REST/SOAP web services and microservices (using CXF, JAXWS/JAXRS, JSON, XML). Use source control tools like Bitbucket, SVN, or Perforce. Employ Maven for project management, and apply TDD and CI practices using JUnit and Mockito. Work with development environments such as Eclipse or RAD. Write and optimize SQL queries for at least one RDMS (Oracle, Sybase, or SQL Server). Deploy and manage applications on RedHat OpenShift. Integrate messaging solutions using Kafka or MQ. Participate in Agile or iterative development methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Leverage JavaScript as a tertiary skill for front-end or integration tasks as required.
